Fabrication

Architectural Glass Industries, LLC is a full service glass manufacturing and fabrication company. We fabricate a variety of glass products with various thicknesses of glass ranging from 1/4" through 1/2".

We specialize in heavy glass bath enclosures. Our experienced staff works hard and utilizes quality control methods to ensure that you receive your order on time and made according to your specifications. We utilize a variety of equipment to ensure accurate fabrication. Our waterjets are used for hinges, clips, holes and step-notch cutouts. We have polishers that produce a high polished edge, an automatic cutting table to increase the production of cutting glass, a drill press and a washer with a bright light inspection station for final review of your glass product before it goes to tempering. We utilize material-handling equipment in order to safely handle glass products and ensure that you receive the highest quality products.

Glass

We stock a variety of glass such as clear float glass, low iron e.g., Starfire, Ultra Clear and Optiwhite, acid wash on clear, and acid wash on low iron.   The acid wash, which is also known as satin etch, has an opaque finish to allow for privacy.

The thickness of the glass primarily ranges from 1/4" to 1/2".

Glass Coating

AGI is a certified applicator of Diamon-Fusion® and Clear-Fusion™ Pro. Diamon-Fusion® is a two-step application process which comes with a lifetime warranty and Clear-Fusion™ Pro is a one-step application process that comes with a 10 year warranty.

These protective coatings make cleaning the surfaces much easier than non-treated surfaces. From hard water stains and calcium deposits to environmental elements, fewer contaminants stick to surfaces treated with Diamon-Fusion® or Clear-Fusion™
Pro and are easier to remove when they do not stick.

When it comes to cleaning your glass, the less time and effort spent, the better. Although the coating repels many of the contaminants, it does not replace regular cleaning of glass with non-harsh and non-abrasive products.  To keep the glass looking great for many years to come, we also recommend squeegeeing the glass.

Distribution

Picture
Architectural Glass Industries, LLC distributes its products throughout Connecticut, New York (including Long Island), Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

We travel to multiple locations every business day to ensure you receive your orders on time.

All finished glass products have protective buttons, are wrapped and have corner protection to prevent damage during transportation.

Additionally, you will find our drivers are just as outstanding as our products. We are careful about who we hire to make our deliveries. Our drivers are representatives of AGI so we make sure that they have excellent customer service skills and handle the glass safely. We are proud to say that we have received many compliments from our customers on our drivers.

We Work Hard and Smart

In addition to working hard,  we strive to work smart.  At AGI our cross training program along with our multiple quality control work stations, translates into a diverse staff that inspects your glass at various stages of the fabrication process.  We do everything possible to prevent mistakes from leaving the shop.

However, should a mistake unexpectedly leave the shop, the remake will be right behind your order within 24 to 48 hours later; few other companies offer this commitment. We understand what it is like to have a final payment held up due to an incomplete job or to have to go back to a job multiple times, which is why it is important to us to produce glass products correctly and accurately the first time.  And, if there is a problem or defect with our glass products, then we commit to resolve the issue quickly (typically within 24 to 48 hours) rather than having you wait for weeks for a remake.
